From Barcelona to Grenada, Moorish influences permeate Spanish culture, arts, language and cuisine. This elongated lantern shape is seen throughout Spain in plaster, stone and ceramic. In a simple twist of medium we have chosen fused glass to breath new life to the shape. Waterjet cutting and a clever adaptation of an ancient mold technique come together to make our Andalucìa Collection. The result is inspired by the unique blend of ancient and modern found on any Spanish street. The subtle ripple on the surface of the glass comes from the texture on the rear-face creating surface highlights and hidden depths. When the textures are coupled with the deep and subtle color palette, it brings a distinctly European style & sophistication to any setting.
