A tutu made of plates is an odd concept but that is exactly what we did for Waterford Wedgwood for a promotional event at Marshall Fields. This 5'6 mannequin was costumed by Kinc in wig, bodice and tutu, assembled on site and hoisted into place on the center platform in Fields State Street Walnut Room. The tutu was made from 144 plates touting the new pattern "Ballet" being introduced by Waterford Wedgwood. She was crowned by a cascading sweep of ballet slippers and made her dramatic entrance in April of 2006.
