Quick Clips Moulding Installation System

Focal Point created the Quick Clips system to make moulding installation fast and easy. Installing crown moulding using Quick Clips eliminates half of the steps associated with a traditional crown moulding installation. This abbreviated installation saves time on the jobsite, so more installs can be completed in a day. Traditionally, moulding has been nailed into place, requiring installers to search for wall studs and spackle, sand, prime and paint resulting nail holes on the face of the moulding. Complex miter cuts, wood build-ups and pattern matching have also proved to be challenging for installers. The innovative Quick Clips moulding installation system, however, offers worry-free installation. Quick Clips are installed along the header board of a wall, eliminating the need to find studs. When Quick Clip-compatible mouldings are snapped into place, barbed ends of the Quick Clips fit into the grooves on the back of the mouldings. This holds the moulding firmly in place. Focal Point's crown mouldings are single-piece, meaning no build-ups. Miter-free blocks eliminate the need for mitering corners. Once Quick Clip-compatible mouldings are installed, the entire mounting system is hidden from view ¦ and since no nails go through the moulding, there are no holes to patch!This revolutionary system allows you to pre-finish your mouldings, install the clips and blocks, and then simply snap the moulding into place. Pricing

Six clips are packaged per bag, and approximately one bag of Quick Clips will be sufficient for one 8-foot piece of crown moulding. Quick Clips are sold for approx. $3.00 per bag. Focal Point compatible mouldings retail for $20 to $40 per 8-foot piece of decorative crown. These decorative crowns are value-priced compared to the hand-carved wood alternatives.
