Sustainability
As a design team we strive to go back to basics. In keeping with this philosophy, our pieces are clean and simple, and handcrafted from natural materials including wood and concrete. Operationally, we work under a reduce, reuse, recycle and rethink environmental code of ethics. Ninety-nine percent of the materials used to construct our pieces come from within 100 miles of our workshop in beautiful Squamish, British Columbia in Canada. In fact, the concrete components of this piece are made of sand and aggregate sourced only 2km away. The wood elements of this piece are made of locally sourced western red cedar, and finished with natural tung oil.
