The Design Process
The design objective with the Rivenwood profile was to translate the the beautiful aging process of wood into a captivating veneer format that would be right at home in interior or exterior applications. Created with materials that offer depth, complexity of color, pattern and tactile distinction that are identical to authentic wood grain, it is produced using a concrete mixture that’s poured into a mold and colored using mineral pigments. Its porous and lightweight properties make it easy to cut and handle, creating a streamlined and more cost-efficient installation process compared to natural stone.
