SolidPlus engineered flooring is Eco-Sensible. Not only is wood a renewable resource, but the same block of wood that yields one piece of traditional 3/4" solid flooring produces four to five 3mm wear layers for SolidPlus engineered flooring. It's a better use of natural resources. The fact is, with 3/4" solid flooring, the solid hardwood below the tongue and groove only provides support—it just makes sense to create a more stable and eco-conscious support structure. There is no compromise in appearance for the consumer, but advantages in construction and use of raw materials.

Somerset Hardwood flooring is sold nationwide through a network of wholesalers, contractors and dealers, each setting pricing appropriate to their market.
Notes
SolidPlus engineered flooring is available in Somerset's Color Plank, Character, Specialty, Wide Plank, and Classic Collection. All Collections (except for Wide Plank) are also available in the same colors and species in 3/4" solid hardwood flooring.
