The thermal break of the G.U-thermostep threshold considerably reduces the heat flow at the bottom of timber and PVC lift-slide and lift-tilt-slide units, thus achieving noticeable energy saving. Thermally broken tubular threshold for lift-slide and lift-tilt-slide units Subsequent exchange of 15 mm, 10 mm and 5 mm running rails possible. Complete exterior (weathering) side protected by aluminium profile. Flexible application due to modular system: tread threshold, various drip rails and running rails designed for clip-on assembly. Identical basic profile for timber and PVC patio doors. Anti-moisture foil directly connected to the drip rail. Suitable for the use in barrier free construction to DIN 18025, max. height only 18 mm.
