Edison

Nominee
2012-13
This chair is a handsome and durable reproduction of the chair used by Thomas Edison for his 1878 New Jersey laboratory, where he invented the incandescent light bulb. Harvard University chose this chair for their 1995 restoration of Memorial Hall, creating what is arguably the most beautiful college dining hall in America. The Edison Chair has since been specified for 6 other college dining applications.
