Designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub develop a new, high-end range of conference chairs for Wilkhahn. At the design's core is a seat shell that can be divided and put back together differently, with the armrests becoming the main link between the seat and the backrest. The original, unitary shell shape is still recognisable, but a high level of visual lightness is achieved by the cut-out section and open armrests. The principle's benefit is that it is very easy to combine different types of seat and backrest heights to produce diverse models. Comfort also enjoys high priority. The concept includes the integration of three-dimensionally sprung comfort without involving any mechanics.

Sustainability

Durability is Graph’s number one priority. The iconographicform has what it takes for the chair to become a classic. The combination of sophisticated upholstery and innovativeflexibility guarantees consistently superb comfort. The chair’smaterials and craftsmanship are designed to last and last. The materials comply with Wilkhahn’s product developmentrequirements:• armrests, seat bearers and star bases are made of die-castaluminium, a large proportion of which can be recycled andcan also be returned without any loss in quality in closedmaterial cycles;• leaf springs, wave springs and seat and backrest frameare made of steel; the material is precise to process, staysstable, is easily available and equally possible to return tomaterial cycles;• the polyurethane padding is made with a CFC-free process,is breathable and is also suitable for thermal recovery;• the covers are produced in leather or high-quality textilesmade of renewable feedstock, or materials that can alsobe returned to material cycles.
