Momentum Textiles presents four new privacy curtain fabrics ‚¬â€œ Decimal, Aperture, Betula and Perennial ‚¬â€œ for use in Healthcare settings. Inspired by the juxtaposition between the geometric and organic elements in the surrounding environment, the patterns aim to bring balance and rhythm to an otherwise sterile hospital setting. MBDC Gold Certified patterns Decimal and Aperture address both the aesthetic and functional needs of restorative healthcare environments. These privacy curtain fabrics are constructed entirely of the next generation in Eco-Intelligent ® Polyester. Not only does this yarn contribute to LEED point accrual in various categories, but it also surpasses its predecessor with an enhanced softness and expanded design capabilities. Eco Intelligent ® Polyester “2.0  is considered the first true technical nutrient in that it remains in a closed-loop system of manufacture, reuse, and recovery. This new version is also the first antimony-free, chlorine-free, and Persistent Bioaccumulative Toxin-free recycled polyester. Adding to their environmental savvy contents, Decimal and Aperture utilize a range of calming colors, shifting hues, and geometric patterns to experiment with light and space.To achieve the necessary performance standards for healthcare fabrics in a privacy curtain application, the additional two patterns in the Evolve Collection utilize Repreve ®; the first 100% recycled polyester yarn with inherent flame retardant properties. The new technology, pioneered by Unifi, Inc., facilitates the creation of recycled FR yarns with non-halogenated compounds. Both Betula and Perennial are constructed with Repreve, which uses a combination of 80% post-industrial and 20% post-consumer recycled polyester yarns and integrates proven flame retardant phosphorus chemistry into the yarn's construction. Momentum Textiles has exclusively launched the first line of healthcare privacy curtains to meet code with the new-to-market recycled polyester FR yarn. While pushing the limits of green, the new patterns concurrently offer patients organic textures and botanicals to emulate the asymmetry found in natural habitats.
