Optos was designed with the environment in mind. By following the manufacturer's DfE (Design for the Environment) guidelines, the following environmental features were realized:• Transmission of natural light into the building floorplate receives LEED's (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credit recognition• Multiple standard trim sizes are cut to length on-site, translating into less waste• Demountable walls can be taken with you when you exit the space, extending the useful life cycle of the product• The clean, minimalist aesthetic is timeless and won't go out of fashion, extending the useful life cycle of the product• Optos has few components – they are all single, identifiable materials that have been designed for disassembly• Most materials are readily recyclable and some are derived from recycled materialsWith regard to DfE, Optos is a better choice than traditional building methods because it can be relocated and reconfigured. Optos is Greenguard Certified for Indoor Air Quality and supports LEED accreditation requirements by providing privacy with a view. By using glass walls, natural light can penetrate deep into the building core and views out are maintained.
