This product was designed by the Everest Design Team, at Carrier Residential as part of the largest redesign project in Carrier history. The 2006 Cooling Products is the broadest line of products in the industry to meet new energy efficiency standards.Carrier's new cooling platform resulted in 25% improvement in quality. In addition, Carrier filed 34 unique patents under this project-helping the company maintain its innovative tradition. The use of 7mm tubing to bring down unit size eliminated the need for distribution to invest in larger trucks to carry larger units. Furthermore, Carrier's sheet metal cabinet design gives its products an aesthetic edge over its competitors, and has resulted in an increased brand differentiation.
