Eileen, the new armchair designed by DRAW Studio, draws inspiration from the work of Irish architect and designer Eileen Gray.
The supporting frame is reinforced by slanting oval section stay-rods which make the wood flex, as if it were a crossbow suspending the upholstered seat, while its surfaces are embellished by refined wood finishes – in solid walnut or ash – and by solid brass trims. A sweeping curve extends from the foot to the armrest to outline a fluid upward movement, an iconic and unmistakable graphic stroke.
