The project not only utilizes Passive Solar design, but uses other sustainable features in the design. The passive solar features used include residence / window orientation for maximizing solar exposure, eave overhangs for limiting direct sun light, etc. The other sustainable features include re-use of materials, minimizing site disturbance, use of local materials, day lighting and views, etc.
