BathArt can make an ordinary bath, extraordinary. Americh applies a white texture to any one of their ROC solid surface products. Custom textures are possible, i.e., bamboo, vines, leaves.
All textured products are unique, one-of-a-kind, hand applied pieces of art. The texture can be applied to any of their ROC products.
A cool texture can add a 3-D effect, making an otherwise 'flat' product, more interesting but not too over the top.
The Design Process
Americh wanted to take bath art in new directions. For the featured texture, they've replicated the Pollock artwork from their catalog. As the design ideas of 'bringing the outside in' took hold during Covid, they thought, how can they reach all the senses with their products? Texture can subtly touch the senses and take the overall feel of the bathroom to another level.
The process is wholly artistic. The staff artist does each one individually, by hand, much like Pollack himself did it. He applies the ‘splatter’ and then smooths it down so there are not bits to snag towels, clothes, etc.
The texture is the same solid surface mix they use to make the tub itself. Once it’s applied, it can’t be removed. It’s part exterior structure of the bath.
