Custom Cabinet Door Inserts

Nominee
Grand Rapids, MI ‚¬â€œ Klise, a national decorative wood products supplier, announced and displayed at the International Woodworking Fair, an expansion of its Finishing Touches hand-carved product line to include hand-carved door inserts. This expansion comes in response to customer requests for a reasonably priced design upgrade over plain front cabinet doors, or glass doors. Klise is marketing these products to serve cabinetmakers of all sizes, as well as furniture manufacturers, and custom woodworking organizations. In September of 2006, Connestoga Wood Specialties announced the addition of the Acanthus Series from this group, to its catalog of door options. In 2005, Klise introduced several new hand-carved wood products collections to which these door inserts relate. Among these are, the Acanthus Collection classic acanthus leaves with a shell emblem, while the Elegant Acanthus derivative features a fleur-d-lies emblem to provide an elegant door enhancement. The Sonoma Collection carved door creates an upscale look blending classic grape and vine details, while the Harvest Collection carved door is a unique textured “basketweave look that could become the focal point of any cabinetry application. The quality and rich appearance of these collections, combined with a desire to embrace customer-driven designs, and a more accommodating size range are some reasons Klise customers are delighted by these custom cabinet door inserts. Klise now offers carved, embossed, and wire mesh door inserts for frame and frameless cabinet doors, that will enhance nearly any cabinet design. Door inserts are available in a variety of sizes in maple and cherry, with other species and custom sizes available upon request.
