This sculptural fabric shade structure was installed for seasonal use in July 1997 on the facade of the Ottawa-Carleton Centre in Ottawa, Canada. Located above the performing arts space on the "Festival Plaza", the sculpture was designed by Charles Duvall of Duvall Design, and Cynthia Thompson of Transformit, and was commissioned by the Municipality of Ottawa-Carleton. The suspended steel beams were designed by Tony Griffiths of GRC Architects of Ottawa, Canada.
