The Halo SLD collection has expanded to include new color temperatures (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K); higher lumens (1200 Series) for use in high ceilings; new Designer Trim Rings in Satin Nickel, Tuscan Bronze and a white paintable trim; and a universal voltage option. The series incorporate WaveStream™ LED technology with AccuAim™ optics to create an ultra-low profile (0.7-inch), surface-mounting luminaire with the “cone of light” performance and look of traditional downlights, but offering up to 80 percent in energy savings. Available in 4-inch and 6-inch sizes and in an 80 or 90 CRI option (90 CRI is California Title 24 /Title 20 certified), series now includes a high lumen 1200 Series for use in high ceilings and applications requiring higher light levels. The 1200 Series features two versions, a standard 120V and a universal voltage 120V-277V option and consumes only 14.8 watts while providing up to 1125 lumens. The SLD collection is designed to last 50,000 hours.The SLD Series is designed for installation in many standard 4-inch junction boxes, and may also retrofit 4-inch, 5-inch or 6-inch aperture insulated ceiling (IC) and non-insulated (Non-IC) recessed housings. The SLD series can also be wall-mounted and replace surface-mounted fixtures. New Designer Trim Rings are available in Satin Nickel, Tuscan Bronze and a white paintable trim, offering design freedom to match décor and interior fittings. The SLD surface downlights seamlessly integrate with advanced lighting controls solutions and has dimming capability. Eaton’s exclusive proprietary Slot-N-Lock quick installation system with mounting bracket allows for simple and fast installation. The product is ENERGY STAR® qualified and wet location listed for outdoor protected ceilings.
