The Halo LED Downlight's performance earns an ENERGY STAR qualification by meeting the ENERGY STAR Program Requirements for Solid State Lighting Luminaires: Eligibility Criteria – Version 1.0 for Category A – Recessed Downlights. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping consumers and organizations save money and protect the environment through energy-efficient products and practices.
