Neo-Ray Define LED Linear Recessed Luminaire
The Neo-Ray Define LED Linear Recessed Luminaire with optional integrated sensor control system characterizes the ultimate in minimalist simplicity by providing clean, uniform lines of illumination in virtually any architectural environment. Powered by Eaton’s most advanced linear LED technology, the Define series eliminates socket shadows and the necessity to stock multiple lamp lengths, all while delivering outstanding efficacy in a variety of profile widths including 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 5-inch widths. Lengths are specifiable to the nearest inch, a trait unique to LED systems, and allow an architect unlimited options when defining architectural details. Moreover, the product has the truly innovative ability to accommodate different ceiling interfaces on either side of the fixture becoming the transition between different ceilings and further delineating the space.

As the variety of ceiling systems rapidly expands to include cloud systems, wood slats, larger tiles, and metalized or fabric panels, luminaire integration becomes crucial to the success of the installation. Wall corners, wall to ceiling transitions are available as standard components, blending seamlessly into the most complex architectural spaces. Robust construction and adaptable, modular components make installation simple and ensure straight runs.
The luminaire can be fitted with standard flush, regress and proud lensing and the luminaire’s patent-pending lens clip easily snaps into place at the ends of runs and seals off the end of the luminaire to prevent light leaks and bug and dust protection. The lens clip and standard snap in lens are suitable for damp locations, and allow the Neo-Ray Define series to be installed under canopies or in restrooms with ease.
As building codes and standards continue to become more stringent, standard slot luminaires will struggle to meet the efficacy and dimming criteria necessary for the modern office environment. The Define series’ high efficacy LED engine and standard 0-10V continuous dimmer driver allow easy and flexible integration with lighting control panels, occupancy sensors, daylighting controls and room controllers. The Define series provides numerous luminaires and shielding options that not only conform, but shine through todays, and tomorrow’s, rigid building codes and standards.
The luminaire is available in high and low lumen packages and in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K correlated color temperatures with a typical 85 CRI and optional high color quality 90 CRI.

The Define series is available with an optional integrated sensor control system, optimized to meet energy codes for occupancy sensing and daylight harvesting. The sensor control system provides stand-alone operation with PIR motion and daylighting capabilities for auto on/auto off operation and daylight harvesting. The sensor system comes pre-wired into the fixture with no commissioning required using thoughtful default settings. An optional hand-held remote allows for use controls if needed with presets and multi-mode functions that are easy to set-up. The luminaire-integrated sensor control system reduces the design time and complexity of meeting energy codes for both lighting and controls.
