Offering three hand-scraped varieties out of a total of eighteen options, Nature's Beauty, White Oak-Sable is the darkest color of the line up.The oversized planks demonstrate the richness of the hand-distressed nuances beautifully. Each plank is 9/16-inch thick with a 4mm wear layer. The boards are 5-11/32-inches in width and are supplied in 6- or 7-foot lengths. The 3-layer construction is unique, in that the middle “core is designed to move freely from the top and bottom layers, which creates a very dimensionally stable floor.Each plank surface and edge is individually scraped by hand to create a one-of-kind piece of art. The side beveling accentuates the overall large board size and promotes a warm feel and old world charm. The topically stained flooring is created from White Oak and brushed with a very warm, dark brown coloring. The added color does not hide the natural robust characteristics of this distinctive species, where color variation, mineral streaks as well as knots can still be seen. White Oak-Sable can be installed by either a floating, nail-down or full-trowel, glue-down method. This option can be installed in every room, from the bottom to top level, even over radiant heated subfloors in any home or business.
