JAPANESE MAPLE from the Fossil collection is a new wallcovering reminiscent of polished stone tablets with authentic impressions of exotic foliage in extraordinary detail. This unique development is constructed of a surprisingly flexible fabric matrix set into a durable gypsum cement, then sealed in an acrylic finish for a water resistant luster. Each hand-cast piece has it's own subtle color and texture nuance, and is factory pre-trimmed to an 18" x 24" tile for easy installation with standard methods and adhesives. JAPANESE MAPLE tiles are shipped in 3 different leaf arrangements. To accent and preserve the 'rare' quality of this specialized wallcovering, we also offer a smooth FOSSIL FIELD TILE without any leaf impressions to use in a random or 'checkerboard' installation with JAPANESE MAPLE.

4 Standard colorways available Size: 18" x 24" Pre-trimmed tiles Repeat: None. Also available as unpatterned field tile. Content: Gypsum, Cotton, Acrylic Flame Rated: ASTM-E84 Class A
David Goldberg Design Corp.
Materials, textures and visual effects have always intrigued David. A painter by avocation, he came to New York in 1978 and soon founded his firm: David Goldberg Design Corporation in SOHO, Manhattan's artistic hub, where he began creating inspired wallcoverings of exceptional craftsmanship. The varied collection has grown to encompass richly tinted frescoes, perforated, etched, and hand-rubbed finishes, innovative textures with plaster, glass, sand, fiber, metal and sculpted surfaces utilizing modern resources such as acrylic mediums and vinyl. Employing a wide array of materials and techniques blended in unexpected and innovative combinations; they produce fresh and dynamic products for use in the interior design industry. While this diverse collection is equally grounded in both traditional and modern design, the inviting textures, tones and material handling of these wallcoverings transcend rigid decorating styles. Although the company regularly expands within the contemporary arena, David's continued development of new methodologies have rendered traditional designs steeped in vintage process, which effectively suit a more classic environment with an old world charm. With homage to the 19th century Arts & Crafts movement, the company strives to maintain the fine balance between craftsmanship and the demands of the marketplace. The company answers both aesthetic and practical considerations by providing accessible, precise custom colors, timely deliveries, and most importantly an understanding and nurturing of the subtle nuances characteristic of genuine hand-made product. David Goldberg Design Corporation is proud of their work's inclusion in many of the world's finest residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors.
