District

Silver Award

District provides an alternative aesthetic to systems furniture. It also accommodates emerging workstyles and makes efficient use of today's smaller office footprints.District is a furniture system that can be used broadly across applications, has a distinct and sophisticated character and has features and qualities that make smaller spaces seem special. It is furniture-based, but includes panels with a clean and sophisticated look that complements today's architecture.District can be planned with in the same way as conventional panel systems, but it also can be used to create highly functional smaller workstations. Much of District's appearance, features and planning principles are the result of designing smaller workstations. District is furniture that makes efficient use of expensive space, by the way the components are designed and the way they work together. The furniture is light, airy and transparent, and creates clever, compact and comfortable workstations that are pleasant to work in.

District is manufactured at facilities that are certified to the ISO 14001 environmental management system. As a bio-based alternative, linoleum worksurfaces are available. Acrylic edge banding is also offered as a PVC alternative. Wood certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), and contributing to the Materials and Resources category of LEED, is a finish option.
