Armstrong Cabinets announces that it ranks highest overall among cabinet manufacturers in J.D. Power and Associates first Cabinet Satisfaction Study. The study reveals that “while the look and finish of cabinetry is likely to first attract buyers, functionality and the ordering and delivery process are the key drivers of customer satisfaction.†The study was based on five factors (in order of importance): operational performance; ordering and delivery; design features; price competitiveness; and warranty. Armstrong ranked highest, performing particularly well in operational performance and design features. While buyers may be drawn to the aesthetic features of cabinets as they make their purchasing decisions, it's important for them to also consider durability and how smoothly the cabinets operate, according to J.D. Power and Associates. Customers are looking for ease and convenience in the ordering process, as well as timely and accurate delivery of their cabinet orders, especially since late or incomplete deliveries can delay or add costs to construction or remodeling projects.About J.D. Notes
The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) awarded Armstrong Cabinets its Environmental Stewardship Program certification for commitment to the responsible use of natural resources through sound environmental management and sustainable practices. Developed in 2006, the groundbreaking Environmental Stewardship Program grants annual certification to those manufacturers who meet a stringent set of environmental criteria. The criteria are designed to promote the sustainability of natural resources, reduce waste, and to reward those companies who are going above and beyond in their efforts to reduce environmental impacts. To earn the association's ESP certification, Armstrong Cabinets had to demonstrate compliance to a set of standards in five categories: air quality, product resource management, process resource management, environmental stewardship and community relations.
