Featuring a regal falcon encircling a seat with its wings, this piece was inspired by a statue of the Pharaoh Kahfre and the falcon god Horus from the Old Kingdom of Egypt. Horus was considered the guardian of the pharaohs, and the falcon remains a symbol of royalty, strength, and courage to this day.
