"Portofino," shown here in our colorway, "Sunburst," is hand-dyed on 100 percent silk guaze, using a pleating technique. This produces a variety of unexpected tonal intensities, not possible by any production method available.This fabric is a beautiful window covering choice, either as a sheer or with a liner, as the drapery. It is particularly dramatic in settings with high ceilings that need long drapery panels and we custom produce for each specific installation setting.
