Johnsonite ®, a leader in providing flooring solutions that contribute to the creation of high-performance environments, has launched Perceptions , a new design-oriented finishing borders collection with three stylish profiles: Recess , Spire and Quad ; each with its own sense of architectural appeal. The Perceptions Collection, comparably priced to Johnsonite's traditional rubber wall base, offers easy installation and maintenance, and the 4.25-inch height helps to hide old glue lines in retrofit installations. More than 105 color options are available, including Johnsonite's ColorMatch ® colors, while the durable rubber construction will not fade or crack. The new Perceptions designer profiles include:Ø Recess: Introduced in 2004, designed with a defined recessed groove along the top. Ø Spire: Featuring three horizontal notched edges along the top. Ø Quad: Designed with four notched edges equally spaced along the entire wall base. “The new Perceptions Designer Wall Base Collection is the latest example of Johnsonite's solutions that offer a unique, low-maintenance architectural finish for high-performance spaces, Sharon Folliard, Johnsonite's vice president of design and development, said. “For a comparable cost to traditional wall base, the Perceptions profiles offer added architectural detail and visual appeal, helping to define aesthetically-pleasing, motivating space. All three profiles are standard in toe base, while Recess is available as a straight base by special order. Premanufactured corners are available. The profiles are offered in 120-lineal-foot rolls or 4-foot sections by special order.
