Clients wanted to move on from the “Mediterranean” style so prevalent in this area to a much clean, more transitional design style. One of my personal goals was to design a living room that the clients wanted to use. They told us at the beginning of the project they never used the space except major holidays when they had a lot of people over. They now have a glass of wine in this room every night. Our brief was to design a transitional space replacing the existing furnishings in a clean transitional style. The clients did not like clutter or a lot of objects and décor. The kitchen was updated by replacing everything except the cabinetry which we painted.
