Because the p-trap is the low spot in the sink drain line dirt collects there and clogs develop. Inside SpinFlush® are vanes that guide the waste water to create a vortex as it enters the first bend of the p-trap and continuing the vortex all the way through the trap. This vortex is the SpinFlush® effect wherein dirt and debris are forced to stay entrained in the water flow. In fact the waste water also forces any debris that may have settled in the bottom of the p-trap out and into the main drain line. SpinFlush® does all this without drain cleaning chemicals or moving parts, keeping the drain clear naturally using just the energy of the falling waste water.
