Fellowes Helios Binders

Thermal binding offers consumers a method of neatly securing loose printed pages with a strip of tape or plastic strips fused with heat. PDT previously redesigned Fellowes' Binding & Laminating (B&L) range to improve aesthetics, introduce new features and improve usability. Fellowes turned to us to update the aesthetic of their thermal binders to continue the new, unique, stylish design language previously developed by our team across the other Fellowes product ranges. In addition to the slick new design and compact footprint, new, exclusive features make the binding process intuitive and productive. Large, clear branding in conjunction with bold styling allows the product to be instantly recognizable as a Fellowes product. The Helios 30 and Helios 60 thermal binders were designed for improved usability and safety. The Helios thermal binder range features a twin skinned lid with many vents and a gap on the underside of machine to offer maximum ventilation to aid in cooling. The innovative Heat Shield safety barrier slides backwards and forwards to protect the hot base plate and prevent accidental contact with the heating plate for ultimate user safety. Dual button safety locks on the lid deter children from opening the machine when hot. Easy to follow, clear graphic instructions located under the lid walk the user through the binding process. The integrated, extendable, rear mounted cooling rack allows users to store documents after binding to cool. The lid folds flat when not in use for storage. The two machines use the same chassis and components where possible to reduce manufacturing costs.
