The Harper tile was created when a client needed a tile that was highly durable as well as beautiful. The surface would be knocked by trolleys and suitcases in a high traffic area, and the studio’s response was to create a cast metal tile that can be plated in a wide variety of metallic finishes, as well as powder coated for a softer coloured look.
Giles Miller Studio believes in enriching the way we experience our surroundings. The studio creates innovative surfaces, sculpture and architecture. In each discipline, the studio brings new meaning to spaces by celebrating the relationship between materials and light.
