These new knobs and roses are forged in the Baldwin manufacturing plant in Reading, PA. All of the machining and finishing is also done in the Reading facility.Each of the new designs are made from a single piece of forged brass, which allows them to be distressed successfully.These designs can easily be used on Estate mortise entry sets. All knobs and roses are fully compatible with all Estate spindles, mortise locks, latches and mounting adaptors.All new roses, both passage and privacy, will use the brass rose retainer that is currently used on the Estate collection privacy roses. The roses are not threaded.
