Type 32 is a series of thin (5.5 mm) ink-jet porcelain tiles designed by Diego Grandi. The Type 32 Collection is influenced by the typical zig-zag effect reminiscent of traditional French herringbone floors. It is inspired by art and illusion and created from the overlapping of two layers. The first layer is a screen printed wood-look, while the second is a design based on the reiteration of the oblique line, produced in four different patterns. The four graphic patterns (Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta) are available in four base colors, each offered in a cool shade and a warm shade, resulting in 32 items. The 5.5 mm thickness makes these tiles light and easy to handle, allowing for a wide range of applications. Type 32 is an extremely versatile collection, allowing designers to interpret their own creative vision with various combinations and modules.
The Type 32 Collection is comprised of four base colors (Coffee, Honey, Snow and Vintage), each offered in four graphic patterns (Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta) in a cool shade and a warm shade. Tiles are available in the following nominal (and actual) size: 8"x79" (7.87"x78.74"). Tiles are rectified and mono-caliber.
Type 32 is suitable for interior and exterior walls, as well as interior residential and light-traffic commercial flooring applications.
