The chair is made of Guayubira one of the hardest and abundantly found heavy grained woods in the world. It is also called Argentine Rosewood.

Jason Mizrahi was born and raised in Los Angeles. He holds a degree in Architecture at Pratt Institute in New York and is currently based in New York. Jason Mizrahi's designs alter the perceptions of furniture and sculptural art. He explores ideas that redefine how we view furniture. He drew upon his admiration of art and ventured into unconventional techniques to generate designs that seek to awe and inspire.With this collection, Jason began exploring techniques that push the limits of materials to unexpected shapes and revealed the beauty of its expression. Jason's investigation into structure and material reflects a confident optimism. These featured designs are expressions of a wide range of disciplines (Art, Architecture, Music). Jason is a member of the American Society of Furniture Designers.
