UCX Undercabinet Light is constructed of a lightweight aluminum alloy and features an ultra slim (5/8†wide) LED light bar that easily mounts to metal or wood cabinets to provide lighting to desks or cubicles. Once attached, the light can swivel back and forth to 60 degrees to provide more directional lighting. UCX is controlled by a touchstrip so the user can simply slide their finger along the strip for continuous dimming. The LEDs are rated to run 50,000 hours before dropping to 70% brightness. Assume 8 hours of daily use, the light can run for over 17 years before it becomes noticeably dimmer. Another energy saving feature is the optional occupancy sensor which automatically turns the light off if the user leaves the room, and turns it on again when the user returns. UCX is available in Metallic Black, Silver, and White finishes, with a choice of warm white (~ 3500 K) or cool white (~ 4500 K) light.
