Since 1905, Putnam Rolling Ladder Company in New York City has been manufacturing custom made rolling ladders used throughout the home or office, including libraries, pantries, lofts, and storage rooms. They allow quick access, and also store vertically, when not in use. Thirteen (13) hard woods including mahogany, walnut, maple, cherry, red and white oak, hickory and teak are available. In addition to thirteen different hard woods, you can also choose from various Minwax stains: the combinations are endless. Eighteen (18) finishes for the track and hardware are available including black, brass plated, chrome plated, antique brass, oil rubbed bronze,satin nickel and brushed chrome. There is an old-style bottom fixture for a more traditional room, or the new-style bottom fixture for a more contemporary look.Putnam also makes stools of various sizes out of the same hardwoods.
