The Broan® Ultra Silent™ QTXE Ventilation Fan/Lights are the perfect solution for those who are energy and cost-conscious yet demand superior lighting and overall quality in their ventilation products. These fan/lights feature our latest lighting technology to lighten and brighten any room, and a freshly re-styled grille design that blends into any décor. Our new lighting technology is specifically engineered to provide brighter, better quality light while using less energy, and projects more light into the room. The technology improves brightness by more than 27 percent and increases lumens per watt by more than 64 percent. The unique lens formula vastly improves lighting quality and provides more evenly diffused light in any room. These fan/lights maintain a low profile in relationship to the ceiling and when standing underneath the fan, the inner workings are hidden - making the entire design much more inconspicuous. The new one-piece fan grille on QTXE models has a traditional design feel with exposed louvers and smooth, curved edges that hug the ceiling. The lens surface area has been optimized, while maintaining optimum air flow and sound performance. The fan/light grille’s color, texture, matte level, and resin material enhancements was based on input from leading paint manufacturers and reflects a color and matte level that blends with any décor. The updated lighting system uses 15% lower wattage bulbs than the previous generation, which saves money on energy bills. Additionally, these models utilize convenient, energy efficient GU24 bulbs, which are readily available from most retailers.
