Diafos: Decorative, Dramatic, 3-D and White on White


ABET LAMINATI presents Diafos, a dynamically decorative surface,
translucent for see-through application or backed for case work. Diafos is the first translucent laminate with three-dimensional decorations. It is
created with translucent paper and melamine. The translucent laminates, used as decorative dividing panels or to attractively camouflage overhead lighting, add dramatic texture and style to any room or office. Each sheet of Diafos – translucent or backed – is 51 inches by 120 inches.

Seven new subtle, white on white designs, are backed for horizontal
applications (the images are printed on an alpha cellulosic paper. These paper layers are then impregnated with melamine resin. To allow the material to adhere to a substrate a backer has been added. This backer is a kraft paper impregnated with a phenolic resin). 20+ options in the Diafos line have a phenolic backing appropriate for desktops or horizontal applications.
