SBI's cotton knit backing adds strength and durability to upholstery fabrics while improving handling and helping to prevent seam slippage. Knit Backing adds body and resilience to otherwise fragile fabrics. This is the most desirable method available to reinforce light weight silks, cottons, and fabrics such as chenilles for upholstery use. Cotton polyester knit backing is permanently bonded to the back of your fabric. Our one of a kind method insures that your fabric will be more stable and better suited for upholstery use.
